The Science of Happiness: Strategies for Life Satisfaction with Dr. Catherine Sanderson, Ph.D. & Dr. Jennifer Guttman
Original Air Date Wednesday, March 13, 2019
Is it possible to create sustainable life satisfaction or to maintain true happiness by shifting our mindsets? The placebo effect offers a unique perspective on this phenomenon. People who believe they are taking a cure often times feel better even if the treatment is fallacious. If our physical health is subject to our thoughts then why not use our minds to elevate our mental, emotional, and spiritual health as well? Positive Psychology Podcast Host, Lisa Cypers Kamen speaks with two doctors who are living testaments to the powers of positive persuasion. Catherine Sanderson shares the impact happiness can have on relationships, life satisfaction, and longevity. And, Jennifer Guttman describes her personal journey and the six components that led to her long-term contentment.
