Dr. Ilan Dar-Nimrod has completed his BA with a double major (Psychology and an interdisciplinary honors program) at Haifa University and his PhD (social psychology) at the University of British Columbia. Dr. Dar-Nimrod integrates biology and the social environmental to target diverse research questions from health implications of genes by environment interactions, through how our beliefs about causality affect our thoughts and behaviors, to individual differences in various tendencies, not least among them- coolness. Dr. Dar-Nimrod’s research appeared in leading journals such as Science, Psychological Bulletin, and Behavioral and Brain Sciences. DJ Frankie Bones – The Ravest American Hero. A DJ who has the total exclusive eyewitness report on DJ culture and how it began in Europe and then the United States. Long before Das Googlemaschine brought the world into our bedrooms, Frankie Bones set out to harness the international power of electronic music. Already popular in Europe and the UK, in 1990 Bones became popular on both coasts simultaneously. It spread quickly towards the heartland and by 1993 every state in the nation had a rave scene. Frankie Bones is the only DJ able to be part of all three original scenes. Living in California these days, he claims his love for the music and the scene always rotates around his early days in California.
