James Pawelski, Ph.D., is Professor of Practice and Director of Education in the Positive Psychology Center at the University of Pennsylvania, where he co-founded the world’s first Master of Applied Positive Psychology Program with Martin Seligman. The Founding Executive Director of IPPA, he is currently leading a three-year, multi-million-dollar grant investigating connections between the science of well-being and the arts and humanities.
Suzie Pileggi Pawelski has a Master of Applied Positive Psychology degree from the University of Pennsylvania. She is a freelance writer and well-being consultant specializing in the science of happiness and its effects on health and relationships. Suzie blogs for Psychology Today and writes the “Science of Well-being” column for Live Happy, where she is also a contributing editor.

Dr. Cheryl Fraser is a Fulbright Fellowship award-winning psychologist and sex therapist who combines academic credibility, humor and straight talk to provide expertise for all manner of modern media. As a columnist for Mindful and Best Health magazines, she explores love, sex, relationships, meditation, and the human experience. She created the Become Passion home study series and the Awakened Lover weekend intensive “boot camp” for couples. She has a private practice in sex and couples therapy. Cheryl’s approach to life and to helping others is based on her practice of meditation and Buddhism, which she has studied for 25 years. She has completed several three-month silent meditation retreats, and she is the resident meditation teacher for Island Dharma. Her work is encapsulated in the teaching of Mindful Loving. She is at work on her first book, Mindfulness and Sex and her online program Love School.
